FEASIBILITY STUDY : INTEGRATION OF BIODIESEL (B20) IN WINTER CONDITION IN MONT-TREMBLANT FLEET AND ITS AREA – JULY 2008
Final Report (56 pages PDF document (4 437 Kb french version only)

Following the analysis of the test fleets’ vehicles, the feasibility study proposes an analysis of the various strategies of use of biodiesel mixtures (types and concentrations) and of petrodiesel (Nordic type, seasonal type, kerosene), of the effects of an electrical thermal management system and of the use of additives. Various tests (in the lab and in a controlled climate chamber) were performed to validate (or invalidate) the proposed solutions. Finally, the study measures the impacts of the solutions that were retained, and proposes scenarios for the use of biodiesel for the region of Mont-Tremblant, QC.
